Dream big! When was the last time you sat down and thought to yourself, "I want to do this someday"? As 2016 nears its finish line, it is a great time to look back and reflect on all that happened this year. Sometimes looking back allows you to see if you accomplished as much as you had hoped. For others, so much may have happened this year that it can be hard to capture it all. Regardless of where you find yourself, let me encourage you to dream big. Be still this week as you consider what's ahead in 2017. Think about who you are, what you'd like to do, and where you'd like to be this same time next year. Make a list of the dreams you have for yourself and your family. Then make a list of tangible steps to make it there. Whether your dream is shifting into a career you've always dreamed of or creating that product that's been bouncing around in your head. Or maybe your dream is paying off your mortgage or creating a master bedroom you love. What ever your dream, I encourage you to go after it. What are you afraid of? Why haven't you taken that step yet? We only have one life to live and almost any step you take can turn out for good in one way or another. Whether you fail and learn something or you gain new experiences to catapult you, the biggest mistake is being paralyzed by fear. So go after it! Dream big. Doing interior design now in the 30A beach area located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, I have been able to see many of my clients' dreams realized. For some they hoped to own a secondary beach home for their family and for others they had hopes to build a real estate portfolio and rental income. Seeing others fulfill their dreams through hard work, sacrifice, and determination has been inspiring to say the least. I recently had a friend who dreamed of owning her own home in Nashville where she lives. After many years of saving up for a down payment and being self-disciplined to search for a home she and her family could afford, her dream was finally realized in 2016. As you look to buy your rental home, secondary home, or even your first home know that you inspire others through your determination. If you haven't dreamed big yet, like some of my clients and friends, then what are you waiting for? Really, what are you waiting for? You can do it!
